A quick detour.  The beach here is full of sea junk.  This inspired Laura Hill and I to make a mermaid costume.  She has created a sea shanty and we shot some video for the film clip.  The costume is made with sea junk and old plastic bags… more images on my flickr

Me and the blog

This blog is to track my progress, interests and research in relation to my thesis project and paper for Helsinki Media Lab. I am an Australian artist who has been living in Finland since mid 2008, I'm currently in Portugal on exchange at Minho University. My work isn't constrained by one media type and often exists as performance, video or installation.
